Miracle Lives: Empowering Women Refugees Through Psychological Healing Programs

#image_title

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new psychological course for women, set to commence on March 3, 2024, and to last approximately 2.5 months. This initiative is designed to support women who have endured war, violence, forced displacement, or other traumatic events, and is offered entirely free of charge and confidentially.

The course has been developed in collaboration with the Institute of Psychiatry in London and the Center for Crisis Psychology in Bergen. Its methodology is grounded in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorders, an approach that has been proven effective. The program is also approved and recommended by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education.

The course curriculum is aimed at fostering self-help psychological skills that will assist participants in addressing psychological issues arising from stressful life circumstances. The program includes a total of 7-8 sessions over the course of 2 months.

Sessions will be held at De Ark Kerk, located at Willem-Alexanderplein 14, 3862 CE, Nijkerk. We invite all interested women to join our next cohort.
